The 2017 AI Foot-and-Mouth Disease Virtual Quarantine Training was held at Natural Recreation Forest, Sangdang mt. in Cheongju on September 26.

This CPX was jointly organized by Chungbuk Province, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and Cheongju City. About 300 officials attended, including Kim Young-rok, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, North Chungcheong Province Governor Lee Si-jong, and Cheongju Mayor Lee Seung-hoon.

In response to reports of suspected AI and Foot-and-mouth disease, provinces and cities took urgent action and quarantine processes, such as deploying quarantine TF teams, operating base disinfection facility, and disposal, as if it were a real situation, and STi demonstrated euthanasia using nitrogen gas bubbles.
